Yes, America is now pretty much a socialist country, and yes, this was done to us by a Republican president, George W. Bush. Oh! There's still some free enterprise, but it's gagging more on government each and every day. The days of Reagan freedom are slipping away, replaced by an ever encroaching government. I suggest we all cheat when we can. Jim
