Racial-Preference Ballots Go National by Harry Stein, City Journal 16 April 2008

This is a very interesting, yet underreported story. I had a hand in drafting CA Proposition 209 which was the first of these initiatives. It passed overwhelmingly. Americans inherently vote for fairness. These initiatives guarantee fairness in public matters such as public sector hiring and college admission. I expect each initiative will pass by a large margin. Jim
