While I support rational discussion on global warming, it needs to be pointed out that this article is written with the full intent of pushing ideology over science. I find it very ironic that a neoconservative like Mr. Krauthanner calls for more research when he was so quick to call for the invasion of Iraq based on cooked up evidence of terroist ties and WMDS.
If the writer wants more research, then he should also want the "skeptics" to stop pushing pseudo science, feeding selectively cut and pasted parts of research and talking points into the blogsophere, ask why Senator Inhofe needs swfitboater Marc Morano to run a propoganda campaign and why skeptics contiune to generate dubious petitions and lists instead of doing research that holds up to peer review. Fred Singer are you listening????
Oh and Vaclay Klaus, his country's energy needs are over 65% reliant on coal, much of it generated by highly polluting brown coal. This may help to exlpain his position on climate change.
