Just an excellent column by a New York Times liberal. This is an important column because it partially explains how silly the national media has become. News isn't a contact sport. News is what is happening that it important. How can we bring back real newsmen like Edward R. Murrow, David Brinkley, yes, and even Jack Paar. Jack Paar gave America more news on an entertainment show than today's newscasters give on a news show. Bad culture change!! Jim
