Thomas Friedman underscores the total breakdown in our political system. Serious problems are going unsolved because our political system is in gridlock. Nothing gets accomplished except a constant partison harrangue. I recommend we throw all the bastards out---a new crop of bastards can't be any worse than what we have now. Jim
