Candidate is a proud Republican — but he mentions it only if asked - Las Vegas Sun

The Republican brand is poison in Nevada. I expect it isn't doing very well where you live. There are some good young Republican candidates running in 2008 but they are hamstrung by the legacy of Bush, McCain and the irresponsible GOP members from Congress to the Statehouse. The GOP needs reform. Unless it reforms and returns to its conservative roots I cannot argue that it has a reason for continued existence. Jim
