Funds for Highways Plummet As Drivers Cut Gasoline Use - WSJ.com
I'd say highway funds are much more important to contributing $40 Billion to fight AIDS in Africa and Europe. I'm not opposed to fighting AIDS but I oppose the U.S. go it alone attitude. If those suffering the worst can't contribute then we should leave them alone. I'd say highway funds are more important than a lot of agriculture subsidies. I'd say highway funds are much more important than ethanol subsidies. I'd say highway funds are much more important that all congressional earmarks. You get my drift. There is money for highways, but the government must prioritize. Problem---government doesn't work. Jim
