Credit Crisis Triggers Unprecedented U.S. Response - washingtonpost.com

I'm beginning to wonder if Obama might not be more conservative than Bush. I doubt he can be more intrusive into private matters than the Bush administration. What the hell ever happened to freedom--including the freedom to fail. We have now become a socialist country. Conservatives simply aren't fighting back. Given the candidates, we're certainly not going to get back on the right road in 2008--maybe, if we're lucky, we'll get a good candidate in 2012. Jim
