Foreclosure fallout: Houses go for a $1

Times are tough in Detroit. A pretty nice looking house sold for $1.00. Two years ago it brought $65,000. Sound to me like times might be tougher in Detroit than in Bagdad where American troops are protecting the civilians. Read this article and you may wonder why we don't have anyone protecting houses in Detroit. Why are we ignoring our own in order to protect those with a culture at least six centuries behind ours? The time has come for us to look at ourselves rather than worry about what's happening half way around the world. Jim
