My Way News - More than 84,000 attend Obama speech

THE OBAMA ACCEPTANCE SPEECH. It was quite a spectical---more than 84,000 were jammed into a huge outdoor venue. In times past I have put on political events and I can tell you from experience that the Obama convention and especially the acceptance speech was a professional work of art. Obama has good people doing speech drafting and his advance and staging.

Onto the speech. I think the Obama acceptance speech was the best I have ever seen or heard. In the beginning the cadence had some Reagan to it, then it moved on to JFK, and concluded trademark Obama. This man has an incredible gift in his ability to express himself, not only with words but with gestures and body language nuances.

It matters not what the talking heads think of a speech--who cares what Krauthammer or Mathews or any of the others think---what counts is what the individual listener and viewer thinks. This speech was cerebral, emotional and hit all the points Obama wanted to make. I think he made a sale with the American people. We'll know the first Tuesday in November. Jim
