I hope the CA proposition reclaiming the idea that a marriage is between a man and a woman prevails. I do support civil unions for gay couples. I think it is the individuals right to make selections in matters governmental, ie succession rights of social security payments and other governmental rights. I guess America has "progressed" beyond the boundaries of common sense. Jim
