GM, Chrysler Ask for $10 Billion to Aid Merger - Automotive * US * News * Story - CNBC.com

I say NO. No more government bailout for private business. That's why it's called PRIVATE. I haven't heard anything about these auto companies renegotiating their labor contracts so they can be competitive. I haven't heard anything about a pledge to move their operation to a state where there are tax incentives so they can be competitive with the smart companies. What are they giving up? All they want is for us tax payers to pay for their screw ups so they can continue to screw up. Government has to quit rewarding the idiots. Jim
