This article about the House bailout vote by John Fund is particularly interesting to me because one of the seriously contested Congressmen who voted for the bailout is my Congressman, Jon Porter. I have no clue what this idiot was thinking. I do know that for the first time in my life I will vote for a Democrat for Congress. The Democrat challenger, Dina Titus, declared against the bailout before the vote. Porter was the only Navadan in the House to vote for the bailout. Democrat Shelly Berkeley, from a safe Las Vegas district voted against as did Dean Heller, who represents northern Nevada. Jim
