Poor Bob Herbert, poor New York elite liberal media. You just don't get it. Here's the truth---the McCain campaign wrote off New York and the rest of the east coast bastions long ago. You guys live in your own world which is controlled by your effete "know it allness" and a world that doesn't exist outside Gotham and Washington. You guys live in a world surrounded by reality. Palin is America---God, motherhood and the American flag. Yes, she quotes Reagan---you hate him but to Americans living outside of your reality he was one of the great Presidents. Noone really cares about your opinion--you're old news. Jim
