This column by Stanley Kurtz is about Obama's tie to the extreme left. Regardless of his rhetoric, Obama, by deed, is a leftist. But in my mind, the important part of the article is how the media has ignored the facts. A democracy needs to be comprised of informed citizens. Informing the citizens has always been the responsibility of the media. Clearly the media has failed, and I think intentionally failed. We now have cheerleaders rather than reporters. Jim
