Army Officials Say Many More Active-Duty Troops Are Needed - washingtonpost.com

Why are we waiting till now to add more troops. The need to do so was obvious at least five years ago. I guess the Bush administration will leave the troop larder bare when it crawls out of Washington in less than a month. Let us hope and pray that the Obama administration is wise enough to realize that adding troops to our military is a first priority. I might also suggest that our military prioritize where we need troops. Do we really need troops in Germany, Japan or even South Korea? Let's get it right this time. Jim
