Yes---Hollywood and TV has resulted in America becoming a more coarse nation. But this isn't why I find very few American movies interesting and watch no American network programing (other than news and sports). I don't watch it because it is boring. It is designed for the pre-teen mind. I ain't pre-teen anymore. Jim
