U.S. Lags In Providing College Access, Study Finds - washingtonpost.com

I sure agree with the conclusion of this article. U.S. colleges cost too much to attend. The cause is bloated college budgets with unnecessary administration and staff. Cut the bureaucracy and costs will come down. America needs to develop on-line education which offers excellence, not frills. Does the average American, eager to learn, need a student union and a football team---and about 20 support staff for each instructor? Jim
