Obama Gives Failing Schools a Pass By Chester E. Finn Jr. & Michael J. Petrilli on National Review Online

Frankly, I don't believe there will be many American public schools in 50 years. Parents who care will either home school, send their children to private schools or to high quality charter schools. The public education establishment in America is a failure. The problem is we'll be mistreating a lot of bright, hard working kids because of cowardness and ideological stupidity by our political leadership. Jim
