Las Vegas has no alternative than simply wait the recession out. It's tough when the President tells folks not to visit Vegas and the state's senior Senator remains mute. Only our Mayor, Oscar Goodman, has the courage to reply. That's the bad news. The good news is that Las Vegas has some of the world's smartest businessmen. I'll bet on Steve Wynn before I risk a penny on the elected clowns who pretend to be leaders. Jim
