Liberals love unions more than they desire education for impoverished children. For the lefty teacher union hack it's all about higher pay for incompetent teachers and more control over the education of America's young. Don't get me wrong. America has great teachers. We have teachers who work hard, care about their students, and want to do a good job. Many of these great teachers become discouraged and leave education because the system doesn't serve the needs of the students. America believes in merit yet there are few places where there is merit pay for great teachers. Our current system is corrupt and needs reform. Jim
