Obama may well get away with his ruse as described in this column. Unfortunately for America, the opposition party (Republican) for the most part appear silent, boring and cowardly. Yes--some of the younger members have some spunk but the old tigers are toothless. Our salvation will come from those who promoted and attended the tea parties. They were mostly common folks but they care about America. I cannot honestly say that about many, if not most, Republicans in Washington. Jim
