California is becoming a banana republic. When I first moved to California in the mid 70's I thought I was in heaven. When I left in 1999, I knew I was leaving hell. Without mentioning any names to protect the guilty, the list of friends who are looking for relsidences outside California are part of the old wealth of the state. If you knew the names you would say I'm kidding. Those folks leaving are more than a trickle--they're now a stream. Drastic measures are necessary to save California---and neither Democrats (who like socialism) or Republicans (who simply are now outnumbered and inherently cowardly anyway) have the courage to make the change.
