More and more credible people are having second thoughts about Afghanistan. This Friedman column comes of the heels of similar columns by George Will and former U.S. Senator Chuch Hagel (Republican, Nebraska). I think we should withdraw--and do it now. We don'e need more of America's best young men and women killed in this folly. We don't need more of America's scarce treasure wasted fighting a no win war. Jim
