Townhall.com::Is Bush Becoming Irrelevant?::By Patrick J. Buchanan
This is an article by Pat Buchanan condemning the Bush attack on Iraq using the words of Scott McClellan as his source. It's a decent article worth reading. But that's not my point in posting it. What I find interesting is that Pat Buchanan, Ron Paul, (and yes, Bill Buckley) men long known as the heart of the conservative movement are condemned by little toy soldiers commanded by Bush as being, in terms of cold war dialog, soft on Communism (read Communism as a substitute for globalism). The Bush crowd, McCain and his crowd seem to believe in the discounted idea of manifest destiny. This is one of the reasons I think we need a new conservative political party. Right now the GOP has been captured by those who believe in neo socialistic imperialism. Jim
