I thought this article was ridiculous. Talk about rationalizing an abusive father and putting him on a pedestal. Yeowie! Since when is not telling your children you love them admirable? Since when is hating feminine energy deserving high respect? If you look at the photos of the family, it's clear the mother is miserable, the father, probably too. Understanding why your parents are the way the are is very different from embracing their immature and dictatorial ways. Grow up, Kevin, so you can be a better father than your father was to both sons and daughters. If you feel your hurt, hopefully you won't do the same things to your children. And you may even see that your father was actually a very weak man.
