Opinion: Minnesota Recount Folly - WSJ.com
You really have to be an idealist to believe America has fair elections. Let's consider a few exhibits: Bush/Gore Florida in 2000, all elections where proof of citizenship at the polls is not presented, all elections where bipartison vote counting doesn't exist, and of course the current case, Coleman/Franken. I can go on and on---should voting be reformed---absolutely, but don't try to sell that idea to a politician who just won. Jim
