RNC Hopefuls Stress Return to Core Beliefs - WSJ.com
The next RNC chairman, to be successful, needs to be likeable and articulate (unlike our current Chairman, our last Presidential candidate, or our current President). That person must believe in clearing out the dead wood at the RNC bureaucracy, installing modern technology, and recruiting excellent candidates. The RNC has done none of those things so delete the current Chairman. Assume that half the members of the national committee are idiots or socialites. Those folks will continue to be exclusive. Frankly, I hope for the best but in all my years in politics I've never known the RNC to be helpful in electing conservatives. Jim
