Steele Elected RNC Chair - The Fix

I was pulling for Michael Steele. First off he'll be an excellent spokesman for the GOP. Our recent past has inflicted up with spokesmen (Bush and McCain come to mind) whose speaking ability was so bad they couldn't sell birth control pills in a brothel. I think it also helps that as an African-American he will be able to counteract some of the smooth popularity of Barak Obama. I also think he will be able to encourage new people with new ideas into the Republican party. I'm also delighted to know he's a disciple of Newt Gingrich who is clearly intellectually attuned to America and is the party's best idea person. The Republican party has been tarnished by the misdeeds of it's immediate past leadership. I think Michael Steele will be able to restore the pride and dignity in America's conservative party. Jim
